Bratislava Fashion Days- Jana Pištejová

Better late than never, so here we go...

13.-15.10. 2014

Bratislava Fashion Days (BMD) is the largest fashion event in Slovakia, this fall’s season was held at the Refinery Gallery in the area of Slovakia’s biggest refinery factory. BMD is usually closed to the public, however this year a few changes were made; such as the catwalk show open to the public in the center of Bratislava’s old town. Many great, experienced, and young fashion designers presented their work; such as Jana Pištejová in collaboration with young and talented RóbertVrzala. Making the fashion show an experience worth watching was not only the beautiful dresses, but also the musical performances of a young boys’ choir, and one of the most popular Slovak hip hop artists Rytmus.

A new addition to BMD was also children’s fashion, which was an innovation compared to any previous fashion events in Bratislava.

Lednice Castle

Hello everybody!

How was everyone's weekend? I hope at least as good as mine!

The weather has been amazing these past few days, the Indian summer has definitely arrived and I don't want it to leave.

On Saturday, I went to Lednice Castle in Czech Republic and took some amazing pictures of the castle and the gardens around. I cannot wait to show you!

We did one shooting with couple of outfits, and I think these pictures might be my favorite. But more pictures are coming so I am gonna let you guys decide about that haha.

So!

Today I finally payed my deposit for Master program in Milan! :) I am starting only in January, but I can already feel the anxiety. Of course I will miss my home, family, cats, and Bratislava, but I cannot wait to get new experiences, meet new people, learn Italian language, eat good food, travel around Italy, and get to know the culture even more! Wish me luck, I hope for the best :)

Cats and Gardens

Happy Friday!

This morning I went through little shock when my sister that is supposed to be in Sweden opened the main door of the house here in Bratislava and entered as if nothing was going on. What a surprise! Nobody from my family knew she was coming for the weekend, her boyfriend kept the secret well haha.

So we went to see grandma after lunch to the garden, hot some fruit and veggies and then went for second lunch at her's :P In the garden we were surrounded by cats, so I took few nice pictures. Aren't they adorable??
