Throwback- London Nov 2014

It is Saturday and I found these pictures from November 2014! Portobello Market, Notting Hill, London on Saturday.
Pictures like these make me wanna miss the great city on the British islands. I get nostalgic every time I see them, so many memories I have from London! I spent my last 3 years there, so all my student memories go back there.
London can be so much fun when you have a person to share all the fun with, but at the same time a person can feel so lonely in this city crowded with people, crazy. Maybe one day I will return, who knows :P

For now, here are some pictures I have not posted yet. We were on a mission for silverware, even though I was super hungover so I was on a mission for a CocaCola and food haha. I am in love with the paster color houses, speciality of London.

Hope everybody has great Saturday!

Cheers from sunny Milan! Bacio xx

Double Denim

Wearing: Pull & Bear jeans, Primark shirt, Zara shoes and necklace.
Spring time is here! (Thats why the picture of the beautiful pink flowers)

How is everybody's week going? I am quite busy with all the internship applications, plus intensive classes that last all day long. Zzzzz. But I believe all the hard work will pay off soon.

So...Doble denim...I love denim style for spring days. Mainly high-waisted pants and ripped jeans, plus denim shirt. I love the blue color of denim, either light blue or navy blue, all works well for me. Also goes with my blue eyes haha. In my opinion, blue denim color is the pretties with some light color so I wore this outfit with beige coat that made the outfit light and fresh.

Now I am off to finish my cover letter and fight the want of huge chocolate bar. Yumm

Hope everybody's week goes well!

Audrey

Wearing Converse, jeans and scarf Zara, jacket Miss Selfridge, t-shirt was a gift, long knit Bershka.

Ciao!

Long time no post so I finally pushed myself to post these pictures taken last week. It was nice sunny day but a long day at university so I just decided to wear something comfy. So boyfriend jeans, converse, worn out t-shirt and leather jacket is was! Perfect for a chill outfit.

I hope the pretty spring will come soon, I need to start running properly! (I know the weather is not an excuse but its more enjoyable when its warm and sunny). I keep eating too much chocolate and making cakes out of "tvaroh". Tvaroh is a Slovak kind of cheese usually eaten in a sweet way. So great to put into cakes, pancakes or dumplings. Ufffff what an appetite I have?!

And soon is Easter too! Two weeks and I will be home overeating myself again. Why do I keep thinking about food all the time?

Prada Milan Fashion Week F/W 2015

Prada’s Women F/W 2015 Milan fashion show was definitely one of the most peculiar shows to be awaited this season. As seen in Men’s Milan Fashion Week F/W 2015 in January, big expectations were about the runway design and the premises of Prada’s showroom. As assumed, “The Infinite Palace” designed by AMO has kept its structure, however the “all black everything” was exchanged for light pink and light green theme, signalizing a complete swap from men’s fashion, noticeable from the first step into the showroom.

Light pink and light green welcome drinks, light green and light pink snacks and bites, light green and light pink sector rooms. What else could have been expected than an opening of the show by a light-green suit outfit of neoprene fabric, followed by light pink one?
A theme of Prada’s women F/W 2015 collection was therefore no shock to any spectator. Music evoking falling of sparkles and magic as in any Disney fairytale only supported the lightness of the show, while underpinning the casual femininity of the collection.
Prada’s show was easy to follow and the construction of the catwalk divided into several smaller separate rooms only allowed for brighter and more intimate focus on the model. There were maximum two models in the room at the same time, therefore the focus on the important was set clear.

Show space for Prada Women F/W 2015 Milan Fashion Week was made memorable compared to the general style of fashion shows. After big success of the show space for Men F/W 2015 Milan Fashion Week, Prada decided to keep “The Infinite Palace” structure of enfilade of rooms of different shapes and sizes, connected by aluminum and metal passings brightened by white lights, causing the space to be a maze-like promenade with no ending.
Every room was painted in soft shades of pink or green; no two neighboring rooms were of the same color. This allowed for some kind of block coloration when looking straight through the passing onwards.
In conclusion, the show space was made particular in its minimalistic design and deep thought of the concept of infinity.

Prada seems to have gone some time back into the past century and inspire their new collection by its fashion highlights of smart-casual dressing. The newest collection for fall/winter 2015 carries an impression of 60’s and 70’s inspiration. A-line and sheath skirts, flared pants and silk shirts, straight-cut suits and coats, herringbone and glen plaid patterns, as well as ostrich and crocodile leather are all signs that what was fashionable once might be fashionable again.
New collection is noticeable for the use of subtle colors such as green, pink, blue, beige, however turquoise, burgundy and grey were not left out. All these colors were mixed together in the presented looks. Barely any look was consisting of a single color outfit. Patters used were only adding to the diversity of colors in the outfit.
Prada decided to embrace layering. Shirt collar popping out of a cardigan covered by vest or suit was primary part of almost every suit look. Empire dresses embroidered by brooches and stones and plastic flowers, combined with opera gloves and kitten heels, added on the impression of graciosity mixed with always admired Audrey Hepburn look ready for the 21st century.
Thanks to the use of neoprene fabric, the design kept its given shape and allowed for secret wonder in the audience.

Accessories of this collection endorsed the whole theme of the show. Brooches in the high and sleek ponytail of the model’s hair were playing easily with the fairytale-like music, and opera gloves reinforced the image of a “Cinderella at the ball”.
Handbags are simplistic, middle-sized, block color. Several styles have another smaller part of a different color with separate zip inside it, creating an effect of “2 in 1”. Interesting in its simplicity, attractive in its clear shape and serious in its color combination.
Prada shoes of F/W 2015 collection gave space for everyone’s own opinion and imagination. The soul of the leather boots and moccasins is somewhat more sci-fi and space inspired, however, definitely a piece not easily discoverable elsewhere.
Favorite looks:
#16- Beautiful color and cut of the coat and great combination with dark green gloves and silver shoes.
#26- Grey and black color combination made this look outstand among the rest of the colorful collection. The grey fur accessories on the shoulders are my favorite of this look.
#39. Color of this outfit caught my attention.

Favorite bag:
look #4, baby blue and baby pink will awaken any autumn/winter day.
look #17, light blue ostrich leather with dark green corners of the bag and the simple shape made appeal to my personal taste.
Favorite shoes: look #16, silver as a new substitution to white
